You are the clinical backbone of our hospital, empowered to utilize your full range of technical and patient care skills. You will directly manage patient comfort, safety, and recovery, ensuring we maintain top-notch medical, surgical, and dental standards.

  • Patient Advocate: You’ll champion the health and comfort of every patient, using Fear Free techniques to reduce stress and anxiety in a positive environment.
  • Clinical Partner: You will be the crucial link between diagnostics, treatment, and recovery, executing advanced technical skills that allow our doctors to focus on diagnosis and strategy.
  • Educator: You’ll empower our clients with clear, compassionate knowledge regarding preventive care, medications, and discharge instructions, strengthening the human-animal bond.
Key Responsibilities & Clinical Expertise

Your daily duties will focus on providing skilled, high-quality care across various disciplines:

Medical & Surgical FocusDental & Technical Focus
Anesthesia Management: Perform surgical prep, induce, and diligently monitor anesthesia, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures and recovery.Dental Prophylaxis: Execute professional dental cleanings (scaling, polishing) and assist doctors during surgical extractions and dental radiography.
Medication & Treatment: Accurately administer medications (oral, IV, IM, SQ) and manage fluid therapy.Venipuncture & Catheterization: Expertise in IV catheterization, venipuncture, and cystocentesis.
Triage & Patient Care: Assist in patient triage, provide compassionate patient recovery care, and implement Fear Free handling/restraint techniques.Diagnostics: Skillfully perform and process digital radiography and assist with laboratory sample collection.
What You Bring (Required Skills)
  • Licensure: Must be a Registered (RVT) or Certified (CVT) Veterinary Technician.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of clinical experience is preferred, with proven proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, catheterization, and surgical assistance.
  • Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of small animal medicine and preventive care protocols.
  • Attitude: A commitment to exceptional patient care, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, supportive team spirit.
